Liberty Plays Her Part

Liberty Plays Her Part was initially titled "Liberty Never Sleeps" because of the changing winds of time blowing upon the backs and souls of people seeking solace and opportunity in America.
Each poem in this small book relentlessly embraces how life's inhuman pain walks side by side occasional bouts of joy, during moments of newfound self-worth despite the twisted universal harmony hidden within the hearts of people.
Liberty is gleaming her light, still playing her part in every human being, despite societies mundane injustices and unseasoned raw intentions, she stands for freedom intended for all God's people.
No matter a person's race, creed, ethnicity or origin, all God's creation shall feel His mighty hand working a newness of love, a newness of justice, as His liberty watches, seeing all, giving all, their due. That is my hope today, tomorrow and for the future.
