A Vampire Tale

"We don't kill people anymore. We just drain them a little." Jeff Youngblood is your average 22-year-old Nebraska farmer. He recently finished college with a degree in agriculture, has the perfect Catholic girlfriend, and is ready to till the fields of his own farm someday. The thing is, well, his father's a vampire -- a fact that hasn't deterred Jeff from living a normal, human life. Until Now. When a tragedy occurs, Jeff has to confront the "other" side of the family, his father's vampire family, which lives in Manhattan. There, he reconnects with his vampire roots, learning about the life his father hid from him, while traversing the secret world of vampires and werewolves, a world which redefines what we believe to be true about these supernatural beings who just want to eat, work, and go to the movies in peace.
