Author Gerry Marks Tatham is a sophisticated writer who cleverly uses puns and asides so effectively that her tongue-in-cheek spoofs keep her readers constantly focused, awaiting the next quips. Disappointed by her husband, the main character suspects she has been using Roger as the villain in all her stories and now relishes the creative ways she plans for him to die. While her husband arrogantly flaunts himself and struts about as if he is the sole owner of the beautiful Caribbean resort she has inherited from her family, she uses her words as weapons. He walks about oblivious of how everyne feels. This book has a surprise ending which leaves the reader very satisfied. ( A very funny and cleverly-written work of fiction, "Roger and Out" will leave you in stitches. And Roger's death was hilariously perfect and poetically justified. From start to finish, this novel is an unexpected treasure. C. McKeon, Business Consultant)
