In the final two decades of the last century, a group of young poets, mostly Americans from the Baby Boom generation, initiated, rather tentatively and gradually, a formalist literary revival. Given the status quo of those times, it was no small accomplishment, and the literary revival continues to this day. The interviews in this book discuss a wide range of poetic issues with many of the most significant figures in the metrical revival.
