"Channel Changing in Horseheads" is the story of an average guy growing up in the 1950s and 60s in Horseheads, New York. He was an average athlete but was able to perform in competitive sports in high school and college at levels higher than his physical abilities should have allowed. He also became a proficient street fighter, reaching levels far beyond what his physical abilities should have allowed. He attributes his physical prowess to his ability to practice and eventually master, the art of "channel changing." This is his story.
