I believe that practising gratitude daily is one of the greatest tools a human can utilise. Training yourself to make this a daily habit allows you to live a much happier life-one that is full of hope and promise.
Practising gratitude can help you overcome adversity, enable you to be mentally stronger, help you become more resilient, and prepare for any challenge life may throw your way.
And life has a way of throwing curve balls at us. However, when you are in a peak state of mind, you are able to function in a much clearer manner. Self-care and gratitude allows you to be energised and the best you can be.
It's also important to understand that energy is contagious, so if we can share our energy with another person, the ripple effect can be greater than we ever imagined.
Why is Gratitude so powerful?
Being grateful improves our mental wellbeing and can help us manage and improve our quality of life while managing depression and anxiety.
Being profoundly grateful can only be felt from within. It is in your heart, and that is where the magic happens. When you practise gratitude, you will find greater peace within yourself, and you will be able to see more clearly the opportunities that are around you that you may have otherwise missed.
People are attracted and drawn to energy, and when you are truly grateful, you release an amazing energy from your heart that others can feel and draw upon.
Gratitude is a word that is often thrown about like a tennis ball, but it can only be truly felt from your heart, and it's an individual feeling that only you can experience-and when you do, you cannot help but smile.
Practising gratitude also allows you to be happier, experience positive emotions, improve your health and wellbeing, manage life's adversities, build stronger relationships, and release an energy into the universe that is contagious.
How exciting is that?
It is said that when you practise gratitude, it will be reciprocated. In other words, what you put out to the universe will be repaid. It is also difficult to be grateful and depressed simultaneously, and people who practise gratitude often have less symptoms of depression and anxiety, which in turn may reduce suicidal thoughts.
Being grateful can also drastically improve your self-esteem and self-worth.
It allows you to walk, talk, and present a much more confident you, which in turn opens opportunities in life and helps create more connections and friendships. Even your posture, emotions, and daily rituals will have an added purpose.
Gratitude is understanding that today you have more of what really matters in life than ever before, no matter how tough the present is!
I wish you all the best, and I hope you love the journal as much as I do. It's been a tool I have used for many years, and it has helped me to fulfil my quest in life to empower others to live their best possible life.
Kindness and much Love,
