The Light from the Stone

Daniel is not a likeable young man. Naïve and rigid in his religious beliefs, he keeps himself apart - but when his faith is tested, it fails. In its place he finds solace in science, until a chance meeting leads to him experiencing a disturbing vision. From then on, nothing is the same. Is his retreat into nature real? What about the collapse of the society he leaves behind? Impelled by an irrational impulse he becomes a Traveller, passing through a broken world in which nature is regaining her power and fairy tale and nightmare are intertwined.
