The spirit of excellence

What is excellent? The Webster's Merriam's modern version defines excellent as extremely good; outstanding, superb, exceptional, marvelous, wonderful and magnificent. The original root word excel is translated from the Greek word 'perisseuo' (peri-is-syoo'-o). It means to hold oneself before others, exceed, increase, redound, and remain (over and above). It also means superior, better, higher, pass and supreme. We are all flawed creatures but excellence resides in each one of us. Why would I make a bold statement like that? Because the One who created us in His image and likeness, God Almighty, is Excellent! Simply put: We have the DNA for excellence residing in us!We were created to excel! We were created to be outstanding, amazing, supreme, better and higher than where we have allowed ourselves to settle. We are like the One who fashioned us and placed us on this planet called earth, excellent!Everything that God Almighty created is excellent and functions just as He ordained for it to function. From the wild animals, domesticated animals, different species of birds, sea creatures, crawling insects and other bugs, everything that was created by an Excellent God is excellent. God never missed it. He never said, "Oops! I missed it here and there when I created the mountains, seas, oceans, rivers, lakes, trees, flowers, valleys and all the living creatures that I created." He actually said at the end of creation, "It is good!"This book is about bringing out the spirit of excellence locked up in your DNA. There is excellence in you, whether you want to hear me say it again and again. Say these words boldly," There is Excellency in me and it's coming alive in me! "If you don't say, feel it, think it and walk it, you will not experience it. You are what you say you are to yourself, whether you like it or not. The force of excellence will not manifest itself unless you call and speak it forth from the inner recesses of your being. This book will put you on a cutting edge of people who want and desire to be just different from the norm.
