The Music of the Earth

The author artistically crafts her thoughts, inner explorations and ultimately her transformation, and shares it with the readers who are taken on a magical journey of love and light. It was the pandemic that led to the birth of this book. Somehow the pace of daily life slowed down, making the author more aware of her surroundings, her existence. From an individualized, atomized existence, there came the realization of a holistic existence, at one with Nature. Most poems reflect this realization: all creatures have one common existence on this planet united by the single principle of Love. Interspersed among these are a few poems based on events that shook the morals of a nation during that time...the death of George Floyd, or the passing of the renowned Indian actor, Sushant Singh Rajput.
