The Slaves of Dearborn Manor - Part 1
Peter King
In the not too distant future democracy has faltered and pseudo-fascist regimes dominate the world. In this story a young woman is convicted of a crime, and her sentence is sold to a wealthy family where she will serve her term as their servant.
But her arrival at their estate coincides with the discovery of a way to amplify certain aspects of her mind and body. As she becomes the first guinea-pig in an evolving experiment, she finds that they are releasing the beast within her. Her journey leads her into a world of strange and unusual reactions to the ways they were changing her, and the deeper she went, the more she found herself wanting it.
