This book is about hope for Nigeria

Looking around the country, we are in a state of intense frustration and heartbreak. Can we think of anything that we have been renowned for in the nation? There is zero account for inventions, development, and growth. If we do not stop our selfish interest, greed, and corruption in all areas of national life, we will collectively sink into the hole we have dug for ourselves.

It is time we stand up to our political leaders. Fairness to all Nigerians is what we are asking for. Our leaders must be congruent with their words and actions. It is time we turn things around. It is time we collectively join hands and fight to bring justice our way. It is time we fight hard to develop the nation and thereby develop ourselves. We seek a prosperous nation that is beneficial for all.

It is time for Nigerians to be healed, taking one step at a time each and every day. Eventually, the embezzlement of public funds and corruption will simmer in our nation. We must not allow the selfish greed of one person or a group of cabals striving for luxurious lifestyles to affect the rest of the nation.

We have also come to this hallowed spot to remind Nigerians of the fierce urgency of "Now". This is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off, or to take the tranquilizing drug of "gradualism". Now is the time to make real, the promises of democracy. This book connects all of these in the light of hope that a new dawn will appear in the fading horizon in Nigeria.
