Jakin Stands Up to the Bully

Being bullied is wrong and it is not fun. Although, very scared, Jakin takes a brave stand against the biggest, tallest bully on his first day of school and learns that courage trumps fear. In the end, Jakin and the other kids are surprised at how it all turns out, and you will be too!




Excerpt from Jakin Stands Up to the Bully:






"Jakin showed up at school excited. This tall guy started pointing at him and laughing. ..."Hey look! There's carrot top."... And then, Jakin heard all the jokes. "Hey, do you know what happens when a 'ginger' gets mad? He 'snaps'." They weren't even giving Jakin a chance. They were laughing at his red hair. All the excitement drained from Jakin's body. He felt like he was going to faint. Jakin hadn't been able to wait for this day; and now he just wanted to run away and go home."
