West Elgin Celebration

This energetic overture was commissioned by a community concert band located in south west Ontario on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the band's founding. There is a single theme that threads throughout the composition representing the collective enthusiasm and passion of the players over the years who keep the band strong and the music beautiful. Energetic rhythmic sections combined with strong and memorable melodies make this an exciting addition to concert repertoire of the large brass ensemble.
