Sarah chases after a strange object that is blown about by strong winds. She is attracted by its colour, and is determined to find out what it is. Sarah's first attempt at chasing it fails.
A few days later, Sarah comes face-to-face with the object on the ledge below her window. It is a flower with all the colorus of the rainbow. It becomes her treasure. The flower eventually fades and loses all the colour, but Sarah plants it, expecting something to happen. Just when there seems to be no chance of anything happening, something wonderful did.
The story teaches patience, problem solving, caring, and determination. It also touches on consequences for certain actions.
