Bullied during her formative school years, she was more determined than ever to break free from the negativity and start anew. But life gets messy sometimes, and people aren't always what they appear to be. The feeling of being safe and secure can change in an instant, and once the mask comes off, hard choices need to be made-living with those choices can be even more difficult. Victoria finds herself living a lie. An abusive husband and a scandal rock her world, shattering her dreams, but rising up, she starts over-another new beginning. At her ten-year high school reunion, she's drawn to Drew Anderson, who should be off limits for a multitude of reasons. Their time together solidifies their passion, and she finds herself having to make another life-changing decision, one which will impact any new beginning she had planned. Unbeknownst to her, a malevolence is brewing from the past, and she faces the choice of protecting and defending those she loves or sacrificing herself.
