John Mark Caton writes from the perspective of a pastor who appreciates the valuable role widow's serve in the church. He also understands the importance of the church honoring these women. God has always provided special care for them.

Pastor John Mark Caton has watched Cottonwood Creek Church in Allen, Texas grow from a small church in a rural setting to a large multi-campus church in the sprawling Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. During that time, he has ministered to numerous women who have become widowed. He has watched as they have used their gifts to strengthen the church.
