Corey Jones is a mental health stigma buster and founder of Hope Is Real Mental Health LLC. She is an artist and certified peer specialist who writes for her blog, Hope Is Real. She loves to give presentations and workshops on the healing nature of art and spread her message that hope is always real to move towards a better life. Hospitalized for the seventh time in 2017, Corey chronicles her journey from trauma to joy. Sharing her methods of checking anxiety's facts, Corey offers concrete ways to combat severe anxiety and PTSD. She believes that her mental illnesses are gifts and it is this perspective that she hopes will liberate people who think of their illnesses with shame.
