Where is Cindy Cochran? is the second novel in The Dowdy & Summers Murder Mystery Series, which is the fourth series of novels for MW Burdette. This mystery features Mike Summers and Gary Dowdy, who are hired by the owner of the Hamilton House Hotel in Birmingham to find his missing daughter. A junior at Ashburn University, she vanished from sight. Nothing had been heard from her for several weeks, and her father wants her found and returned to him dead or alive. Mike Summers and Gary Dowdy began their detective agency after the crash of the stock market and the real estate market in 2008. Their first case focused on the murder of one of their own, another realtor from their old firm. Their successful investigation brought a certain amount of fame in Ashburn, and in Birmingham, Alabama. As a result, Harry Cochran decided to hire the detectives to find his lost daughter.
