The Heart Speaks is the continuation of the story of Mildred in Shadows Of My Heart. Mildred had come to terms with the fact that love came to her at a very tasking cost. Convinced that she was not meant to be in love, Mildred buried herself in work and kept to herself. Sam, an old friend, came back into her life and changed the way Mildred looked at life and love in general. Mildred was able to comfortably accept love as it called out to her allowing her to see with her heart and not her eyes.
