Does the passage from Poland to Sweden, across the Baltic Sea, parallel the passage of the Israelites through the waters of the Red Sea? Author P. Örjan Svensson has long had an interest in scholarly work that showed Scandinavian runic script could be traced to the Middle East and was originally written in Semitic languages. After examining runic inscriptions of Blekinge, in south Sweden, where he was born, Svensson found corroborating evidence that the earliest inscriptions there were also in Semitic languages. His subsequent study of Hebrew and Aramaic drew him to research on Torah codes and how they might relate to the runic inscription of Björketorp, Sweden. Now he posits that there exists in Sweden a main Baal Zephon (meaning "master of north" or "master of code") that may harbor the long-held secret of the location of the Ark of the Covenant. This study explores events surrounding the Ark of the Covenant and uses Torah codes to consider the idea that the Ark may be located in Sweden.
