The Guardian and the Goddess

Tom is a loner. Unable to make friends at school, the despair of teachers and caught shoplifting by the police, he feels the whole world is against him. The only time he can be himself is in the wide expanse of Haleford Park. One day, the strange figure of a monk appears to Tom and teaches him the secrets of the landscape. To bring life back to the neglected land, Tom must first deal with the notorious Kev and his gang - and he find the road to enlightenment is never an easy path to tread.
