In November of 1965, the US Army Air Cavalry fought several skirmishes and battles in the Central Highlands of South Vietnam. The most famous battle fought was LZ X-Ray in the Ia Drang Valley. A US President struggles to make sense in its aftermath. It is 1966, US Army Lieutenant Robert Jordan is assigned to the ASA in Saigon. He has to rescue POWs, battle the blackmarket and protect the General and the Ambassador from assassination. The VC and North Vietnamese conspire to stop Jordan. With the help of the Agency, the Lieutenant takes his small team into harm's way one time too many.
