Idyllic Poesies

Into the mirror I behold,
A visage too pale and cold;
Envisioned in my deadpan eyes,
And a reflection in disguise;
Unveil'd many ireful outcries;
From umpteen ages.
Few pillaged pages,
Turned abrupt forth my face,
Unleashing ire; unleashing disgrace.
Falling back onto bygone sands,
Lo! Macabrely those sordid hands,
Devoured me day thru' night,
Twas my plight; a doleful plight;
That ravished me in great delight,
Shattering my immaculate countenance.
No hand to my defence,
Ever to the sin hath risen,
And I was a captive in His prison.

Poetry is not just a part of literature but an inherent part of the human soul. We often communicate in poetry with the subtle nature around, with animals and also with our beloved. It is indeed an universal language of the cosmos which brings all entities together and binds them in a single thread. The rhymes of poetry proffers a rhythm to our lives as well. If you seek a peaceful hibernation from the mundane hustle and bustle, poetry shall provide a blissful refuge. Even the strongest voice against evil happenings comes out of poetry. This book provides a means to restore hope in a wilted human soul and brim each one with the divine joy of celebrating pristine poetry.
