SEAMLESS DESIRES is a collection of 17 short stories written by Gita Khatri. Author Khatri is a renown travel writer in contemporary Nepali literature. She has written several songs and poems. Her first published book in Nepali was published in 2005 entitled SRIJANA YATRA MA GITA KHATRI. She published her second book as SAMJHANA KA TARELI (2010). It is a collection of her songs. SAPANA KO DHAHARA (collection of poetry) was published in 2011. As her fourth published work, JHOKHANG TO MAZLATLAN (travelogue) was published in 2014. Her fifth book as poetry was published in 2014 entitled AAMA HUN AAMA (Mother is Mother). Besides these books, she has published her different 6 music CD's in different years collecting her own songs. As her sixth book, SEAMLESS DESIRES was published from Kathmandu as ANTYAHIN YATRA in Nepali in 2017. This collection of short stories gave her a wide recognition among the Nepali readers in Nepal as well as in the diaspora. This book was translated by renown English translator Mahesh Paudyal to spread her work internationally. This book is her first publication in English language intending the share her writing among the readers globally. All the stories in this collection are short and interesting. The characters have been picked up mostly from the diaspora and significantly the writer has picked the characters from US locally who are being presented to show their humanitarian attitude and behavior. Most of the stories are ended opening the mystery which the writer created in the beginning.
