Unwhispered Voices

While reading "Unwhispered Voices", a debut book of poetry by Dadlo Zuhrani, the content of the book can be divided into two parts. Book will bring tears to the eyes of the readers, while reading pitiable plight of a refugee girl, abused street child, call girl killed by father and bitter life of sex workers, on the streets of Kuala Lumpur a victim of human trafficking. The part of the Book vividly describes the fairy like girls, jilted lovers, broken hearts, separation, union and longing. The most striking feature of the book is its voice against the political, social injustice, enforced disappearances of political opponents, corruption of ruling elite. As a whole you will at a time find love and hate, victory and defeat, separation and union, longing and meeting, simplicity and shrewdness.
