From his high school-aged A& R work with Jim Jones' legendary Diplomats Records, to his pioneering role at the then-nascent intersection between hip hop and the internet with his #RNT Tumblr account, to the revolutionary geographically-agnostic sound of his early production for the A$AP Mob, Yams (née Steven Rodriguez) irrevocably changed the cultural and musical landscape for generations to come.
