The Leader of the Shangs

Sumick is a healer.
And there are many dangerous plants and animals in his world. Even
at the tender age of fourteen Sumick has spent most of his time,
energy, and life healing. He has seen women sick, men hurt and
injured, and even children die.
Sumick takes his trade very seriously, but when his brother grows
sympathetic to a rebellious group called the Shangs, he has to make
a choice. Should this young healer stay, heal the sick and injured and
save lives, or protect his patients from ever getting hurt in the rst
place, and join the Shangs.
