In a place called the Yello Realm, the "Warriors" battle the evil forces of Maubuus, with a natural power called "The Shine." A crucial member of the Warriors escapes a mysterious momentous battle. He passes on the power to open doors to other realms to Hideo - an imaginative Japanese high school student who dreams of being a great hero. While a third, arrogant, technologically advanced culture that imploded upon itself is secretly conducting a generation's old experiment. It is driven by a loathsome secret that destroyed their home realm. Hideo finds himself in the middle of the chaos of dreams unseen.
