The Witch

During the early 1600's in England, witch scare and witch hunts were common among the superstitious population. Old women living alone and people who didn't conform to society's norms were frequently thought to be witches. Gilbert Aderhold was a doctor who began practicing medicine in Hawthorn village. Joan Heron was a single woman living alone in the same village. There were many different signs the country folk look for to identify those in league with the devil. Joan and Gilbert embark on a long and eventful journey as they try to escape a false accusation of witchcraft.
