It can also be used in sociology classes examining women's issues, and marriage and sex, as well as in psychology and health science classes. Dan Beaver earned a B. A. in psychology at the University of California, Berkeley, and an M. S. in counseling psychology at California State University, East Bay. In addition, he received specialized training in Masters and Johnson-style sex therapy. A licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Professor Beaver is currently an instructor at Los Medanos College in Pittsburgh, California, where he teaches the psychology of human sexuality. He has been in private practice since 1973 providing individual and couple therapy in Walnut Creek, California. Contributor Bio:  Beaver, Daniel Daniel R. Beaver is Emeritus Professor of History at the University of Cincinnati. He is the author of Newton D. Baker and the American War Effort, 1917 1918 (1966). He has written numerous essays for other books and has published articles in the Journal of Military History (formerly Military Affairs), the Journal of American History, and the Bulletin of the Cincinnati Historical Society.
