Beau was a Golden Retriever and Australian Shepherd blend, with the combined physical beauty of both breeds, as well as the distinctive personality traits of each.

How he loved to run and play!

His story, as revealed in this book, was made possible by the spark of love that he ignited in the hearts of those who cared for him--a family of three, Wendell, Barbara, and Tommy.

After a long life, Beau died peacefully at home early in the morning on the Fourth of July, 1995. His spirit to live and fulfill his destiny as a dog and friend burned ever-brightly and remained undaunted until the very last beat of his warm, shining heart.
