Tightening her robe about her and tying the belt, she unlocked the deadbolt on the kitchen door and pulled it open. Standing just outside, clipboard in hand, was the man from Bolden Pools. He looked up at her as she caught sight of him. He was not, she decided instantly, "not much to look at," as he had described himself. In fact he was a lot to look at: well-muscled, average height, slender and tan with a shock of dark brown hair and the beginnings of a beard he obviously kept closely trimmed. Instantly she put a hand atop her head, pushing back her blonde locks and wondering how she looked with no makeup and uncombed hair. "Ms. Marbury?" "Mr. Bolden?" "Yes, ma'am. Just call me Garrett, please. May I come in?" Wendy Marbury has so many things to worry about. How will her daughters, Tina and Tasha, Deal with her newly finalized divorce? Will she be able to keep up the payments on the two story house for which she is now responsible? But most of all, how will she know if the attraction she feels for this man who has swept her off her feet is purely physical or really love?
