Something strange is hidden underneath the small Texas town of Tejas Hill. Perched on a limestone bluff, Tejas Hill looks like a thousand other small towns, but looks are deceiving. The townsfolk are eccentric and downright strange. Three people separately converge on the town searching for something they don't understand, unwittingly setting in motion a series of unstoppable events. Archeologist Abra Avant wants to know why a local antique dealer appears unchanged in photos generations apart. Skippy Beto, cub reporter and soon to be heir to a broadcast fortune, seeks an explanation for a rare meteorological event after a misfired mining blast. Dennis Smith, a promising young scientist, investigates geological anomalies inside the bluff. When a local snoop widely despised for making pornographic gestures at citizens is found murdered on top of the abandoned university building, suspects abound. Two FBI agents sent to investigate how a ham radio postcard from a local recluse has appeared on a Mars Rover during a presidential press conference instead become embroiled in the murder investigation. Throw in a nasty little alien named Klatoo, and a half-alien beauty named Yasha, and the stage is set for a climatic showdown in a prehistoric cave under the bluff. Welcome to the strange and deliciously different world of Tejas Hill.
