The Final Battles
Bruce Bullock
Jesus Christ favored Bruce Bullock by His grace alone with the principal oboist's chair in the Mozarteum Orchestra at the first revival of the Salzburg Festival in Austria after World War II in 1947 (against all odds). The Lord had also given him a gift for languages before Bruce finally received and acknowledged Him as Lord in 1954. He founded and directed a symphony orchestra and several series of chamber music concerts in New Mexico. After his marriage in 1963 he and his wife founded and directed the Performing Arts Opera company in Albuquerque NM and produced two seasons of opera. Upon the financial collapse of the opera company they moved to teach, write and perform first in Pennsylvania and later in New York City before ultimately returning to Minnesota. After the death of his wife he created a series of language teaching grammars based on the Gospel of John in Spanish, German, French, Italian and Russian to be expanded into many other languages.
