The Exodus

In THE EXODUS, the concluding volume to Bryan Thomas Schmidt's epic space opera trilogy, a series that captures the feel of the original Star Wars like no other, the tyrant Xalivar is dead, and yet the Vertullians, weary of the persecution against their people, have decided to leave the Borali System and start over somewhere else. But when they set out in a ragtag fleet of donated ships, the attacks begin again, first by space pirates, and then by something more. After large numbers of officers from the Borali Alliance military disappear, High Lord Councilor Tarkanius is forced to ally with Davi Rhii and the Vertullian leaders to once again face a threat that might destroy them all.
