The Kingdom of God

"It is the presence of the Kingdom of God, which brings hope to the world and will triumph over the powers of darkness. The ancient prophets foresaw these two kingdoms and their parallel existence on the earth. They spoke of the conflict which exists between these two powers a thousand times over. Involved in the conflict is the human race, with its fallen nature that can only be reconciled by the cross of Christ.
