While this is a book about life as Caretaker's at the Shrine of St Therese, it is also about how the Lord touches lives through the beauty of His creation. It is about people who enjoy the outdoors and majesty of snow-capped mountains while having a picnic at the beach. It is about visitors from all over the world who come to watch salmon spawning or just to enjoy the beauty and tranquility that draws the soul to seek for deeper meaning in life. It is a book that will make you laugh at the antics of the animals, walk a trail of tears with the hurt and wounded, and find that real men love to vacuum. However, as you read this book maybe you will also discover something of the majesty and mystery of the one who makes all life possible. Life By the Lynn is a book about an idyllic place created by God for all to enjoy! The author was born in Scotland. At age twelve she migrated with her parents and seven siblings from Shetland to Tasmania, Australia. She graduated with an R. N. degree, and set out across the pacific to U. S. A. enroute back to Scotland, where she had been accepted into a graduate program. However, she met and married her engineer husband in Denver, Colorado. They have four children and seven grandchildren. She is well known as a speaker and teacher in both the U. S., and overseas. She has lived in South Korea and China and has travelled extensively.
