Ageless Arm
Rod Tafoya
Fueled by a passion for baseball at an early age, Rod engaged in a lifetime journey that took him from a right-handed toddler to a left-handed pitcher at the age of two. He progressed from the Little League fields in Santa Fe, New Mexico to a professional minor league career that covered three countries. It wasn't until he amassed over 260 victories in the amateur Men's Adult Baseball League that he became "Ageless Arm." At 45-he threw a 222 pitch double-header victory in Puerto Rico that amazed both teammates and opponents. At the age of 47, he was still throwing no-hitters and shutouts, while traveling the MABL's national circuit. Currently employed as a vice president with Bank of the West, he spends most of his time teaching pitching mechanics to local kids. He is chasing 300 wins and will reach his personal goal sometime in the year 2013.
