Light on Life's Duties
F. B. Meyer
"When I was ready to hear and obey, God spoke to me. It was in a singular way. I was reading in a secular paper an extended account of the Northfield Conference, when my eye lighted on the name of the Rev. F. B. Meyer. One sentence of his I shall never forget: "If you are not willing to forsake all for Christ, then are you simply willing to say, 'Tarn willing to be made willing'?" "Few books of recent years are better adapted to instru help Christians than those of this author. He is a man' in the Scriptures.'" -D. L. MOODY. Frederick Brotherton Meyer was a Baptist pastor and evangelist in England, a contemporary and friend of D. L. Moody and A. C. Dixon. Meyer was involved in ministry and inner city mission work on both sides of the Atlantic, authored 40 religious books, numerous articles and was described as The Archbishop of the Free Churches.
