Control Games: Avoiding Intimacy on the Singles Scene

This work shows how the dynamics of control are played out on the singles scene between people who are self-consciously pursuing an intimate connection, but unconsciously avoiding one. A final chapter shows how these issues can be effectively dealt with in therapy.
