Audition Monologs for Student Actors

This anthology is offered as a partial reflection of some of the best new work that has been written between 1980 and 1999. Not found in other published texts, the 57 monologues in this book are all from produced plays from both established and emerging new writers and are specifically suited for auditioning. Selected because of how well they represent American theatre over the past few decades and because of their suitability for young actors between the ages of 15 and 25, this collection is a wonderful resource for teachers and actors looking for new material for audition purposes, competitions, and studio work.
