Contributor Bio: Tanner Stuart Tanner is a documentary film director/producer and journalist. His film, "The Mahogany Trail" won the Bill Travers "Insight" Award at the 1997 London International Environmental Film Festival. "Death on the Silk Road" won the 1999 Rory Peck feature award. Tanner was also the winner of the 1998 Amnesty International Press Award for his news feature on ethnic conflict in China. The present book on the Falun Gong resulted from a documentary which he made for the BBC's Correspondent series in 2001.
