Eesa's Best Birthday Ever

'Eesa's Best Birthday Ever' explores the tensions that arise between young classmates when they are introduced to unfamiliar cultures, and the ways they overcome their prejudices. When 6-year-old Eesa introduces dishes from his Pakistani and Israeli backgrounds, his classmates scoff at the dissimilarity between Eesa's food and their more familiar American dishes. Eesa must overcome his embarrassment about his culture and family, in order to broaden his classmates' horizons and save his birthday celebration.
