The Flying Church of Orleans Parish

A year after Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans and the Mississippi Gulf Coast, a New York reporter named Lincoln Ellison goes down South to report on the rebuilding efforts of the region. Not long after arriving in Orleans Parish, the young journalist quickly finishes his reporting assignments so he can investigate rumors of people flying in a local church. During the process of unlocking the mysteries surrounding the church and its congregation, Lincoln meets a host of colorful, Southern characters who take him on an eye-opening and spiritual path of self-discovery. Through his journey, Lincoln grows closer to God and enjoys a unique, one-of-a-kind experience at the so-called flying church located in Orleans Parish.
