Unspoken Sermons
George MacDonald
George MacDonald was a Scottish author, poet, and Christian minister. He was a pioneering figure in the field of fantasy literature and the mentor of fellow writer Lewis Carroll. His writings have been cited as a major literary influence by many notable authors. Although George MacDonald was a fiction writer, his ministry & evangelism background helped to influence many of his nonfiction writings of christian books, most notably his nonfiction work titled Unspoken Sermons. In Unspoken Sermons it is readily evident that George MacDonald is more concerned with individuals developing a deep love for God more so than developing religious dogmas. His sermons are more concerned with doing the will of Godd than believing true things about God. George MacDonald's sermons are arranged in series so that the sermons build on each other. This volume of George MacDonald's work contains Unspoken Sermons: Series I, II, III. Unspoken Sermons is often studied alongside or in conjunction with Christian books & bibles, bible study & reference material, as well as Commentaries in an effort to fully absorb all of the wonderful gems found in George MacDonald's sermons.
