The Life of Riley

The Life of Riley and His Troubles, is a comic novel set in Ulster. The story quickly shifts from accidental murder of a Republican commander to the shenanigans of the unfaithful Doctor Riley Dernehen, his wife Dotty, and her stab at catching him on the job, literally, Dotty eventually becoming wise to Riley's sidetracking, mind-boggling stories. A whole cocktail of colourful characters, a priest, a nasty police sergeant, the murderer, the victim's wife and a badass club of hairy bikers, keep the humour boiling. A whirlwind ride of Irish humour and satire.
