A New Beginning

Summer Abdelmottlib was just an average girl who followed the crowd, wanted to fit in and be cool. She was a girl who was lost, confused and hurt on the inside. She disliked herself very much and found herself in total darkness with no light to hold on to. "A New Beginning" is about Summer Abdelmottlib's journey traveling Europe for the first time. Although before her trip she brought along a journal with her that slowly became her best friend. Each day she would document her experiences and realizations. Each moment, each emotion, each discovery she documented in this journal. As each new country she visited she began to find herself more and more. She began to dig deeper into who she truly was. She fell in love with herself. She found herself. She experienced a beautiful spiritual awakening and with each discovery upon this spiritual journey she documented in this journal of hers. Poetry unleashed from her heart and her words of expression became deeper and deeper. So she came back home and realized that what she had gone through, what she had experienced the whole world needed to know. The whole wold needed to see. That "A New Beginning" may just be A New Beginning for you too.
