Analysis With this story we are back in the sort of purely historical narratives. The absence of dialogues, how to tell without living the characters, evoking just the highlights that marked the reign of Ali Pasha, make this story seems very long and somewhat boring. This man despising others, violent, selfish, insolent, the ax was the instrument of his fortune, can be considered a bit like a Caesar Borgia Muslim.
