Almost Lost History of Oregon

An iconic theatre that was started by Tom Hill and his wife Anne Gerety is being honored by this book. Storefront Actors Theatre began from the ashes of what happened at Portland State University during the Kent State riots and the Vietnam war protests. Storefront lasted from 1970 to 1991 and brought a lot of vibrant theatre to the Oregon art scene. In fact, the theatre produced the longest running musical in Oregon history, Angry Housewives - which lasted 4 years.
