The First Commission

The redemption story (which was written into eternity by our all-knowing God prior to creation) begins with a new creation of many sons and daughters who will not fall short of His glory. The company of the redeemed actually picks up the ball--not with the crucifixion, resurrection or even Pentecost. Those were essential ingredients pursuant to both the Great Commission and the First Commission. The essence of the kingdom of God is reactivated in its fullness where Adam and Even left the center of God's will in favor of their own personal pursuits.
